featuring Almost Kiss

Today Lacuna Coil did an in-store acoustic set at a great record store in St. Louis called Vintage Vinyl. I highly suggest going there if you ever get the chance. I think I found all the stuff I've been looking for on this tour there. And they gave us a sweet massive crew discount.
  • Biz Markie - 'I Need A Haircut'
  • The Durutti Column - 'A Night In New York'
  • Gene Chandler - '20 Greatest Hits'
  • Grinderman - 's/t'
  • I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - 's/t' EP
  • James Brown - 'Star Time' 4xCD
  • Leonard Cohen - 'Live In Concert'
  • Leonard Cohen - 'Songs Of Love And Hate'
  • Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - 'The Abattoir Blues Tour 2004' 2xCD/2xDVD
  • Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - "(Are You) The One I've Been Waiting For?" single
  • Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - "Into My Arms" single
  • Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds + Kylie Minogue - "Where The Wild Roses Grow" single
  • Planes Mistaken For Stars - 'Mercy'
  • The Stooges - 'The Weirdness'

  • Thin Lizzy - 'Live And Dangerous'
  • Tones On Tails 'Everything!' 2xCD
To top off the awesome haul me and GRBDN rode in a big white limo from the record store back to the club because it was raining! I got to roll down the window and go, "Hello? Poor People? Is that you?" Needless to say GRBDN was amused and some girl who was in the limo with us said I was "bad". I think she meant it in a "bad to the bone" way and not an "in bad taste" sort of way. Either that or she saw my partial cover-up on my "bad business" tattoo and realized it just says "BAD" on my arm now. Myles needs to hurry up and finnish covering that one up. Trashy to classy man.

Here's a blurry couple pics of me and GRBDN classing it up:

Monster in a campaign glass... pure player.

I am still extremely straight edge.

Today pretty much makes up for how fucked up Kansas City was yesterday. If you live in KC you are probably a waste of human life based on the people I had to deal with last night. It was literally the dumbest crowd of people I've had to deal with in 5 years of touring. Mind blowing. I thought a town that celebrated Space Ace's birthday as some sort of holiday would be cooler than that.

Example of the dumbness we dealt with yesterday: I was talking to a little kid at the show (literal little kid, like 8 years old) and he was telling me he wanted a shirt, but didn't have any money. I told him to get a job and stop leeching off society. Some dude overheard me and though I was being serious and got way aggro. He told me and GRBDN that he makes so much money he could "buy the merch stand". Seeing as he was wearing sunglasses in the club and had footprints on the back of his shirt I highly doubt it. All I have to say about that is, "Blow it our your ass, partner!"

Yeah. BIOYAP! Yet another reason KC scares me just a little bit. The main reason being this weird statue of a frog spitting on a baby's dick that I saw downtown...

At first I thought the kid was peeing on the frog, then soon realized it was the exact opposite. Mind boggling.

On the subject of mind boggling things, I guess I missed this when it came out. Has anyone seen the cover of the Beyonce - "Ring The Alarm" single?

I want to buy this thing just for how insane the cover is. I'm not sure if it was Jay-Z or Dreamgirls that made this girl lose what was left of her mind. I'm loving it.

As wild as that cover is, it's not as ignorant at the cover of this CD I bought earlier.

Like I said, sometimes covers are so dumb you have to buy the disc. A rapping 70's pimp zombie. I had to have it. Me and Lizard man were hoping he would rap in a scary voice on the record. We were both greatly let down. I read online and saw Prince Paul and Dan The Automator produced some tracks on it though so there's still a chance for it to redeem itself.

Now I have to get back to work. The dumbness continues.

PS: If you are in the band Conquest and reading this... please call your CD 'Wrath of Conquest'. Kirk sucks, Kahn rules.
